Galvanized Wire Products are produced at "El Oboor" city plant east of Cairo.

The products are:

 *  Commercial Hot Dipped Galvanized Wire:  produced in diameters 1.25 to 5.00 mm with a tensile strength of 35 to 55 kg/mm2 according of DIN 1548/177. The zinc coating is 50 to 120 gm/m2.

Packing is in coils lined with PVC stripes with hessian cloth in 50 to 100 kg or in a continuous pattern laid coils in 300 to 700 kg of weight.

Applications: Commercial Hot Dipped Galvanized Wire is suitable for making nets and networks for winding, baling, hanging, hauling or as overhead wires.

Characteristics: good pliability with tensile strength of 35 to 55 kg/mm2, break resistance and anti-corrosion, the wire is coated with a thick layer of pure zinc. Its quality will not change and no flaking off of zinc coating will happen even after long and repeated uses.                                    

The wire has bright finish with even and attractive zinc coating.

*  Heavy Galvanized Steel Wire:  Produced in diameters of 1.25 to 5.00 mm with a tensile strength of 35 to 55 kg/mm2. The zinc coating is 107 to 824 gm/m2 according to ASTM A641 - 89 (class 1 - 2 - 3 - B - C)

Packing is in continuous pattern laid coils of 50 to 700 kg of weight.

Applications: Fencing applications, Welded Mesh.

*Galvanized Barbed Wire: Produced according to the "IOWA" type specifications, or as requested by the customer. It has 2 strands, 4 points, with Barbs distance 3 to 6 inches (tolerance +/- 1/2 inch).

Suitable for Industry, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dwelling House, Plantations or Fencing.

*Chain Link Fencing: It can be used as environment pen guards such as doors, windows, fences, and rails. It is produces in different assortments, either galvanized or plastic coated.

*Cable Armoring Wire: Used for Electric Cables armoring. It is produced in diameters of 1.5 to 5.00 mm with a tensile strength of 35 to 55 kg/mm2 according to BS1442, or BS443 standards with tolerance of +/- 0.04 to +/- 0.1 mm depending on nominal diameter. The zinc coating is 107 to 824 gm/m2 according to ASTM A641 - 89 (class 1 - 2 - 3 - B - C)

Packing :  300 to 700 kg of weight in continuous pattern laid coils.
